ACM-BCB 2015 Call for Posters

ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM- BCB) is the main flagship conference of the ACM SIGBio (ACM Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics). ACM-BCB 2015 will be held in Atlanta, GA, during September 9-12, 2015. The conference provides a premier forum for interdisciplinary bioinformatics, computational biology and health informatics research interfacing computer science, mathematics, statistics, biological and medical science. More information can be found from conference website (http://acm-bcb.bme.gatech.edu/2015/). This year, we also encourage the participation of physicians and medical researchers if they apply bioinformatics approaches to solve biomedical challenges in their work. We invite authors to submit results that fall into general areas of bioinformatics, computational biology, and health informatics, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • computational systems biology
  • microbiomics and metagenomics
  • population, evolution and comparative genomics
  • multi-omics data analysis and integration
  • translational bioinformatics
  • clinical and health decision support systems
  • biomedical and clinical data analytics
  • mobile health and sensor network
  • behavioral, environmental, and public health informatics
  • clinical and health decision support systems
  • bioimage and data visualization
  • text mining of biomedical literature and electronic health records
  • Important dates:

Submission deadline: 11:59pm (local time) on July 29th, 2015
Notification of Acceptance of Posters: Aug 2nd, 2015
